Beginning in 1964, when we first opened shop in Richmond, BC, Tree Island Steel has been producing the highest quality wire and wire products in our manufacturing facilities in North America. Since then, the Richmond facility has grown from 40,000 sq. ft. to over 400,000 sq. ft., and covers 38 acres of land.

Over the past 50 years, the company has grown in size through expansion and acquisitions: In 1972, Tree Island Steel acquired K-Lath stucco reinforcing products to the California housing industry

In 2000, Tree Island Steel the Company acquired Halsteel a manufacturer of collated nails located in Ontario, California.
